Hackney Under 11’s 2, Tower Hamlets Under 11’s 2.

 

Hackney had plenty of chances to win this game against neighbours Tower Hamlets, but had to be grateful for a last minute goal to earn a draw.

 

Tower Hamlets opened the scoring deep into the second period and doubled their advantage minutes later, an unlikely score-line after Hackney had dominated for long periods, rattling the woodwork three times in the space of ten minutes.

 

Hackney then pushed players forward and Montel Shalders-Gayle forced a low shot into the net. The visitors were now on the back foot and desperate defending

kept Hackney at bay until the very last minute when Hackney’s outstanding skipper, Sean Clare, headed home Mohammadu Faal’s right wing corner.
