Inter-District match

Hackney Under 11’s 5, Camden Under 11’s 0

Hackney used all eighteen players selected for this first representative game of the season and the high-quality performances of all the boys has only made it harder for the team management to select a final squad.

An early strike from Mohammadu Faal set the pace for Hackney,  and with skipper Sean Clare in commanding form at the back, the home side continued the momentum and forced an own goal from Camden . Montel Shalders-Gayle then converted a close-range effort before Corey Samuel-Lewis produced the goal of the match. firing home from twenty-five yards.

In the closing minutes, Camden enjoyed their best spell of the game, rattling a post and seeing two other efforts go narrowly wide but when  Chaynie Fase-Burgin broke away on the right to provide the perfect cross,  Aron Gordon was on hand to head home Hackney’s fifth.
