Inter-District Match
Hackney Under 11’s 3, Camden Under 11’s 0
When Hackney last played
On Saturday, both teams fielded completely new squads in an
early season Inter-District match in the more modest surroundings of the Doulgas Eyre Sports Centre, but the result was again a win
for Hackney. However,
Hackney gradually came to grips with the pace of district football and after a series of corners, Charlie Waite put his side ahead with a twenty-yard drive following a free kick. Eric Dwomoh’s long-range effort made it 2-0 and Waite was again on the mark for Hackney’s third to set the seal on an encouraging performance from the local side.
